Bishops Head 2011 Waipara Valley Pinot Gris
From the 242 vineyard on Georges Rd, our Pinot Gris is machine harvested and left to soak overnight. Pressed off the next day and racked to puncheons. A slow, wild yeast ferment. On lees for 10 months prior to assemblage and bottling.
"The 2011 Pinot Gris opens with notes of fresh peaches, golden delicious apple and nashi pear followed by a hint of mace. This dry style, medium-bodied wine has a crisp acid line running throughout to support plenty of expressive fruit concentration and a long finish."
